The "Freundeskreis des Hochschulsports Leipzig e.V." organises and supports the ZfH with selected sporting offers and events. All sports enthusiasts who are not students or employees of the University of Leipzig have the opportunity to participate in the sports programme via the association.
Guests are very welcome in university sports
The ZfH's wide range of sports facilities can also be used by sports enthusiasts who are neither students nor employees of the University of Leipzig. The prerequisite for this is membership in the Freundeskreis des Hochschulsports Leipzig e.V. (Friends of Leipzig University Sports).
The new association of university sport "Freundeskreis des Hochschulsports Leipzig e.V." was founded on 29.08.2018 and fulfils the task of providing external participants with access to sports courses and supporting university sport. So-called "guests" must first book a membership in the circle of friends in order to register for a sports course and participate in it.
Membership dues
As a guest you need to be a member of the Freundeskreis des Hochschulsports Leipzig e.V. The following fees apply for the current semester plus the following lecture-free period:

Short-term membership
If you start your membership during the lecture-free period or attend compact events such as workshops, weekend events and excursions, please choose the "short-term membership":

How can I take part in university sports as a guest?
Step 1: Membership of the Association
Book your membership in the association "Freundeskreis des Hochschulsports Leipzig e.V." online.
You can find the semester ticket on our homepage in the sports programme under "Fördermitgliedschaft Freundeskreis".
Step 2: Book a sports course
Find your desired course in the sports program and click on "book" if this course is not yet fully booked. Please enter "Guest" as the status when booking. Enter all required data and complete the booking. The course price is displayed. The price varies depending on the location, the number of instructors and the sport.
Step 3: Payment
You will receive a booking confirmation with the transfer data by e-mail. Pay the club membership and the course fee by bank transfer to the respective account. You will find information on this in the "Payment modalities" tab. Please never make collective transfers. You will receive a confirmation email after receipt of the payment. If you have accidentally deleted your booking confirmation, you will find all information under payment methods.
Step 4:
We did it!
Now you can attend your course! Please have the booking confirmation of your sponsoring membership ready on site.
How do I register my child?
Step 1: Membership of the Association
You find the ticket for the club membership in the "Freundeskreis des Hochschulsports Leipzig e.V." on our homepage in the sports program under "Fördermitgliedschaft Freundeskreis".
Book the reduced ticket for your child. When registering, please use the status "Children (from students/employees or guests)" and enter the data of the child.
Step 2: Book a sports course
Search in the sports program for the desired course and click on "book". Please use the status "Children (of students/employees/guests)" and enter the data of the child.
Step 3: Payment
You will receive a booking confirmation with the transfer data by e-mail. Pay the club membership and the course fee by bank transfer to the respective account. You will find information on this under the tab "Payment modalities". Please never make collective transfers. You will receive a confirmation email after receipt of the payment.
Please note that children receive a reduced membership fee.
Sportreffs cannot be booked online. Transfer the meeting lump sum of 10 € together with your membership fee of the circle of friends to the listed account (see step 3) and indicate the type of meeting in the purpose of payment.

External participants are insured by the Freundeskreis des Hochschulsports Leipzig e.V. when using the sports facilities of the ZfH of the University of Leipzig. The prerequisite for this is a completed membership in the circle of friends as well as the booking of the respective sports offer. The fees for membership and all booked courses must be paid.
Basic Data Privacy Ordinance, as of 24.05.2018:
In order to fulfil the purposes and tasks of the association, personal data on the personal and material circumstances of the members and trainers in the association will be processed in compliance with the requirements of the EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (DS-GVO) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). As far as the requirements described in the respective regulations are met, each member of the association and each trainer has in particular the following rights:
- The right of access under Article 15 DS-GVO
- The right to rectification under Article 16 of the DS Block Exemption Regulation
- The right to cancellation under Article 17 DS-GVO
- The right to restrict processing under Article 18 DS-GVO
The organs of the association, all employees or other persons working for the association are prohibited from disclosing, making available to third parties or otherwise using personal data without authorisation for purposes other than - the purpose to be fulfilled with the respective tasks. This duty also applies beyond the departure of the above-mentioned persons from the Association - The Executive Board is responsible for the performance of the tasks and duties according to the EU Data Protection Basic Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act.
